O2 Media’s Hit Morning TV Show “The Balancing Act” Welcomes

Country Hit Maker Brady Seals to the Program!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- June 29, 2010 -- Brady Seals is a successful country music artist who has been in the business for over 20 years.  He sat down with "The Balancing Act" host Kristy Villa to promote his album, Play Time, in stores now. Tune in to the show on July 6th at 7:00 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime Television to hear Seals talk about his new album, his national tour, and what it’s like to be a dad.  Check your local listings or visit Brady's website for a special day-of show viewing.

Seals began his career as a touring musician at the tender age of 16, eventually racking up scores of hit songs as well as three #1's with country group Little Texas – all of which he co-wrote, earning him the ASCAP Triple Play award.  He then went on to make three solo albums, form the band Hot Apple Pie, and recently father his first son, Evan, now 18 months old, with his wife, Lisa.  His new album Play Time is a unique blend of country and rock with fast-paced vocals, country-style rap, and guest performances by members of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and Hot Apple Pie.

“My new single is called ‘Been There, Drunk That’,” Seals says.  “It may sound like it’s about getting drunk, but really it’s more about putting away the past and not doing that anymore.  The Balancing Act is a great opportunity to not only promote my new album, but also to encourage viewers to ‘Rock Responsibly.’”

“Having Brady Seals on ‘The Balancing Act’ has brought yet another great recording artist to women viewers, one who will have a real impact, and help them balance their lives.  We are proud that we could bring this deeply influential and entertaining guest to our viewers” says Doug Campbell, Founder and Executive VP of Programming for The Balancing Act.

Seal’s album, dubbed “musically freewheeling and lyrically lascivious” by Country Weekly, is available now, and The Play Time 2010 Tour is in full swing as well.  To purchase the CD or find out more information about the tour, go to www.bradyseals.com or www.starcityrecording.com.

About Brady Seals:  Brady Seals released his fourth solo album, Play Time, on August 18.  The 11 song collection features 10 songs written/co-written by this proven hit songwriter.   Boutique label StarCity Recording Company gave Seals complete creative freedom and the resulting album is an upbeat and fun collection of songs that Country Weekly called “musically freewheeling and lyrically lascivious” - there’s not a slow song on the album.

Seals has successfully reinvented himself throughout his career, while always remaining true to his musical roots in rock-tinged country. At 16, Seals left his home in Ohio as a touring musician, and by 21 had scored three #1 hits with multi-Platinum selling country group Little Texas—all of which he’d co-written, earning him the ASCAP Triple Play award.  He went on to release three solo albums in the late 90’s before forming and fronting the quartet of player’s players known as Hot Apple Pie, with whom he scored a top 20 hit (“Hillbillies”).

Seals is currently headlining "The Play Time 2010 Tour" in support of his latest single and video for "Been There, Drunk That" currently receiving airplay on CMT PureGACtv.com, Yahoo! and others.
